Shared pricing counts all accepted seats across every party, not only the people in your request. At 1 or 2 seats, the whole shared vehicle minimum equals the private base fare.
Shared is not always cheaper. A group already traveling together may pay less for a private vehicle. Compare the shared trip total with the whole-vehicle fare below.

How the shared draft works
Before cutoff, the current-occupancy fare is a provisional upper bound: future joiners may lower it. Staff would manually freeze it 12 hours before departure. Cancellations never increase the locked fare for remaining groups.
Your details stay yours
After a future launch, verified-email registration, each party’s own full pickup/dropoff addresses and an international phone would be required for staff review. No US phone requirement. These fields are disabled here; no personal information is collected.
